@Guidu80 : on se connaissait bien avant Internet... peut-etre même avant Pyramide! Ce qui explique que je ne me souvienne plus des règles :(

Other Kawasaki Start-up

I’ve been thinking a lot about my last post, about Kawasaki start-ups. Actually, the more I think about it, the more examples I found. You want some?

For me a Kawasaki start-up has the following definition : a company that have very low costs, have not raised any money (or at least less than $1milion), with little technology, but a lot of word of mouth and virality, and who happens to be highly successful in terms of ROI. Please note that since the investment is low, the expectations are not very high, but can be more than hundred times the investment! Of course, these start-up will never be Google or Apple, or Facebook, but hey, they’re enough room for smaller players too!

So, here are some of my first examples : Hot Or Not, a dating website where you can “rate” pictures of your potential dates. LaFraise, a french e-commerce site (T-Shirts), PlentyofFish.com, another dating website, Moo, a famous UK printing company that partners with flickR,…

What would be yours?
