Think “Differences”
The Internet industry is very dynamic and creative, blogs such as Techcrunch or Mashable report webservices lauches everyday. There are even days where competitors are getting out of beta at the same time ( take Disqus and IntenseDebate for today’s example!). As a entrepreneur, I am always looking for new concepts, products or services. Once [...]
Seesmic
Last week, Loic sent me an invitation code to try Seesmic, his new venture, here in San Francisco. First I’d like to say that I think Loic has been very courageous to move all his family, here in California and to start a new business from scratch! I am almost sure that he is not [...]
Other Kawasaki Start-up
I’ve been thinking a lot about my last post, about Kawasaki start-ups. Actually, the more I think about it, the more examples I found. You want some?
Facebook & Microsoft
Today, at 2PM PST, Microsoft and Facebook announced that the first one invested $240,000,000 in the second one, on a valuation of $15,000,000,000. This is a very big move for Microsoft that had been fighting with Google for this deal. One might smile if he recalls Steve Ballmer’s sentences about Facebook earlier this month : [...]
Une start-up “Kawasaki”
Internet, a channel
As I mentionned earlier, Internet is a medium, or at least a bunch of different media. However, Internet is way more than this. The web is also the most powerful retail channel ever. E-Commerce companies appeared very early on the web, and since then, some of them have become retail giants.
Apple’s share price
Despite what most people think, Google is not the fastest growing public IT Company, here in the US. Year to date, its share price growth reached +38.25%, more than twice the NASDAQ growth of 15.75%, bet also a little more than a third of Apple’s growth : 104.59%. Apple’s market Cap of $Bn151.2 is now [...]
Jobetudiant.net
